Course Description: Would you like to be able to read a menu, ask and answer simple directions, read signs, and be able to communicate with Spanish-speaking people? Before the five weeks are up, you will note real progress in your basic level Spanish listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. This class will explore the most commonly used basic grammar, including regular and some irregular verbs in the present tense, which you will need when traveling in Spanish-speaking areas. Students will need to bring to class a copy of the textbook, Spanish is Fun: Book 1, which can be purchased at the KCC Bookstore. Also recommended is a Spanish/English Dictionary. Instructor: Lloyd Parratt.
