Course Description: Pick up from Beginning Spanish or from Spanish you had previously. Become more comfortable listening to and speaking Spanish, as well as reading and writing in Spanish. Build skills to communicate more effectively in new situations, such as traveling in Spanish-speaking countries and chatting with Spanish-speaking co-workers, friends, and relatives. Learn to describe professions and trades, days and months, weather and seasons, and food. Learn terminology for describing states of being, possession, and liking. Students will need to bring to class a copy of the textbook, Spanish is Fun: Book 1, which can be purchased at the KCC Bookstore. Also recommended is a Spanish/English Dictionary.
