Course Description: This is an introductory course to playing the piano and reading music. Students will learn how to read and write music, chord construction and correct piano technique to develop natural, fluid playing. No prior experience is necessary. Students will be granted use of a piano during class time-have fun learning to play on a beautifully-reconstructed piano! Access to a piano or keyboard at home to complete assignments between classes is recommended, but not required. Fee for materials: $19.95 (includes textbook, workbook and CD). This fee is NOT included in the cost of tuition and is payable at the first class. Classes will take place at A Music Store on Main Street at 1029 Main St. in Klamath Falls. Instructor: Carol Treadwell. No Class January 21 or February 18.
