Course Description: This refresher course is offered by the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP). AARP members can improve their driving skills and develop defensive driving techniques in this participatory course. The course takes into consideration the physical changes of the maturing driver and ways to compensate for these changes. Most major insurance companies allow a discount on auto insurance to those drivers 55 years and older who complete this course. A certificate of completion is issued and advanced registration is required. A fee of $14 is due to the instructor on the first day of the class. AARP members receive a $2 discount when they provide their membership number on the first day of class. Class includes break for lunch. Instructor: David Carroll/Danny O'Neal.
