Services
Tutoring
Tutoring is available in the LRC during the hours posted in the tutoring schedule. Subjects in addition to math, writing/speech, and computers vary by term and are commonly available by request. Please
e-mail to request additional subjects or alternative times. Study groups are welcome.

Test proctoring
For KCC students, distance education students from other institutions, state or national licensing applicants, or other community patrons in need of proctoring services. This service is by appointment only. To make an appointment, our preferred form of contact is e-mail. Test takers must provide photo ID.

Resources
Materials for research and study which include: Books, Magazines and Journals, Newspapers, KCC textbooks (for use in the LRC only), Maps, Videos for classes, DVD's, CD's, and Audio Cassettes, Math, writing and study skills handouts.

Computers with internet access for use on a first-come-first-used basis, although KCC students have priority if overcrowding occurs.

Branch library services for Klamath County Library (KCL) allowing KCL patrons to checkout and return their books at KCC.

Interlibrary loan agreements with the OIT library and the Portland Community College library allow KCC students to use their materials. Request for loans from PCC can be submitted from computers in the LRC or from your home computer through KCC's website. OIT materials must be requested and picked up at the OIT Library.

Our Mission
The LRC exists to support the academic mission of Klamath Community College and to provide out-of-classroom learning opportunities and resources to promote life-long, independent learning skills for students, faculty, staff, and community patrons.
