Certificate and degree seeking students who will complete all academic and degree requirements by the end of Summer Term 2008 can petition to participate in commencement exercises in June. You must petition to receive your diploma.

In order to participate in commencement and receive your diploma, you must:

1. Request a Petition to Graduate from a Student Services Representative
2. Submit any transcripts to Student Services for evaluation if needed
3. Meet with your academic advisor and complete the graduation petition
4. Submit the petition to Student Services by the March 7th deadline
5. Complete all academic requirements by the end of Summer Term 2008
6. Complete the Writing, Math and Critical Thinking CAAP exams*
7. Complete Financial Aid exit interview if you have any student loans**
8. Have all financial obligations to the College resolved by June 1, 2008

** Financial Aid exit counseling for Spring term 2008 must be completed in person. Sessions are scheduled for June 4th and 5th. Beginning with Summer Term 2008, exit counseling will be available only on-line and can be completed anytime during the term.

Information letters regarding graduation ceremony will be sent out in early May.
