KCC on the November Ballot
The Board of Education for Klamath Community College, at its August meeting, voted unanimously to place a Bond Measure on the
November ballot. The Board will be asking the community to support its efforts to further serve the District by constructing
two buildings totalling approximately 31,000 square-feet of space. A successful Bond Measure will allow the College to utilize
the matching $7.7 million dollars allocated by the state in 2005 to build instructional and job training labs/classrooms. The
annual cost to property owners is currently estimated at 0.11 cents per $1000 of assessed value.
