Grant Writing Basics
This class is designed to assist grant seekers in seeking private and corporate
foundation funds. In addition to enhancing your grant writing skills, you will
also discover key phrases, tools, and strategies which will assist in writing a

Foundation Day
Participants will learn how to seek funds from private and corporate foundations
and government entities, develop strategic initiatives for sustainable
organizations, and how to be competitive in the current fund raising environment
while remaining true to the mission of their non-profit organization. |

Government Grant Writing
Participants will learn how to identify opportunities for Federal Funding,
determine eligibility and readiness for funding. In addition to covering the
application process, a review of terminology, grants.gov and online resources will
be included. Class will also cover federal reporting and compliance requirements
for successfully administration of federal funding. Prequisite: Grant Writing
