KCC’s Veal, McKeen Get Scholar Awards
Two students from KCC have
been chosen as Oregon Community
College Association Student
Scholars. Leslie M. Veal and
Tonya McKeen were honored during
the KCC Board of Education
meeting on Jan. 26.
The annual awards honor two
students from each community
college campus. Awards are
made based on excellence in the
classroom, intellectual curiosity
outside the classroom, evidence
of substantial development of a
student’s talents, and the ability to
share that development with others.
