    <title>Anatomy and Physiology 9-Month Teaching Faculty</title>

      Klamath Community College is recruiting for the position of 9-month faculty in the Natural Resources Dept to teach Anatomy & Physiology. The Anatomy and Physiology course is a comprehensive course at the molecular, cellular, and organ system levels designed for pre-professional students planning careers in nursing, dental hygiene, physical therapy, EMT, imaging or science. Discusses anatomical structure and physiological processes, including organs, systems, tissues, bodily dysfunctions, and diseases. Will instruct in lecture and laboratory sections.

      <strong>DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS</strong>

      <ul>

      <li>Master's Degree or above in Anatomy or Physiology.</li>

      <li>Previous college teaching experience in Anatomy and Physiology, preferably in a community college.</li>

      </ul>

      <strong>EDUCATION REQUIREMENT</strong>

      Master s degree in any biological science OR Bachelor s degree in any biological science AND Master s degree in biochemistry, biophysics, or marine science.

      Full-time, 9-month faculty teach 174 days

      Demonstrated ability to write reports, business correspondence, and press releases.

This position is responsible for database administration and programming tasks related to implementation and maintenance of the college's administrative database.  This position will insure data integrity, standardization of data definitions, correctness of data use reports and user access. Duties will include:

Install, maintain and operate database systems, both client and server components.  

<p />

Create, verify and modify data entry edits and screens.  Create procedures for up loading and down loading batch data with verification checking.

<p />

Create and verify reports that require significant technical and modeling skill as requested by administration.

<p />

Analyze, verify and troubleshoot data integrity problems for College's administrative management database.

<p />

<strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE </strong><br />

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in related field; or four years of professional consultative, technical or administrative experience providing advice and leadership in the planning, development, coordination and implementation of information systems. 

<p />

Experience should include database administration, programming in a fully rational database (Sybase, MS SQL, Oracle) environment and programming experience in ASP, ASP.Net, C# , and HTML and either;

<p />

1) a minimum of 30 quarter (20 semester) credits in computer science; OR

2) two additional years of experience as a database administrator responsible for an

    organization wide information system; OR

3) a minimum of 15 quarter (10 semester) graduate level credits in computer science, software

    engineering, information systems.

<p />

Salary:  $50,000 + depending on education and experience
