Tuition and Fees
Upon registering for a class, students incur a financial responsibility to the College. Class tuition and fees
are due at the time of registration. Because tuition rates, fees, and refunds are subject to change, current
information is published in the class schedule each term.
Tuition for auditing a course is the same as regular credit class enrollment.
Tuition rates for 2007-2008 are illustrated on the next page. Tuition and fees are established by the
KCC Board of Education and are subject to change without notice.
Credit classes:
Tuition is based upon Student Classification [please see corresponding chart on next page]
Non-credit class: Tuition varies. Non-credit classes and their corresponding fees are published in the Class
Schedule each term.
Degree- and Certificate-seeking Students
Students interested in Financial Aid must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid [FAFSA]
or verify that a completed FAFSA is on file with the Financial Aid office.
Senior Citizen Program
The Senior Citizen Program is for individuals age 62 or over, and is designed to help meet the educational
needs of senior residents in the district. Senior residents may take advantage of a 50% reduction in tuition
for a credit class that does not meet maximum enrollment. The 50% discount does not apply to any additional
fees that may be required. If the class meets maximum enrollment, and the student’s participation would prevent
a full-tuition paying student from taking the class, they will be required to pay the full tuition amount to
keep their place in the class. KCC will notify the student if this situation occurs, and offer them the choice
of paying full tuition or dropping with a full refund of tuition and fees paid.
