Student Services
KCC offers a wide range of student services to meet a variety of needs. Student Services Representatives assist students with college admissions, academic planning, registration, financial aid information, referral to other college and community offices which support students, general problem solving, and student advocacy. Please take advantage of the services available and the opportunities presented by the Student Services Department.

Bookstore
Books can be purchased at the Paper Owl Bookstore located in the Oregon Institute of Technology College Union. For availability and hours, please call 541-885-1050. KCC also operates a retail outlet at the front desk, where students and the public can purchase KCC logo items, including shirts, caps, pens and other items.

Parking
Parking is available at all facilities utilized by KCC. In most cases, parking is free. Students parking at OIT are required to purchase a parking permit. OIT student parking is available to KCC students in designated areas. OIT parking permit brochures describing OIT parking rules and regulations are available, as well as OIT parking permits, at the KCC Cashier’s window in Building 3.

Special Needs
The policies of nondiscrimination at KCC affirm the right of all individuals to equal education, activities, facilities, and employment without regard to age, disability, national origin, race, marital status, religion and sex, in accordance with federal and state laws. Students with special needs should arrange an appointment with the Student Affairs Specialist prior to taking the placement exam. Returning students should contact the Student Affairs Specialist as soon as possible each term for assistance with scheduling.

Learning Resources Center [LRC]
Located in KCC’s Building 4, the Learning Resources Center is designed to support learning by offering a wide range of information resources and services. Print and non-print resources, general-use computers with Internet access, links to interlibrary loan materials, and tutoring and testing services are available to students during the hours posted each term. Help desk personnel are available to answer questions and assist students, individuals, and groups of students. The LRC provides individual and group study areas, listening and video viewing areas, testing areas, and computer access areas.
