Other Requirements
- Candidates for the degree must earn a minimum of 90 and maximum 108
allowable credits.
- Transfer students must be aware of the foreign language requirement for
the particular school and baccalaureate degree they are seeking. For
further information see a Student Services representative.
- Developmental education courses or courses used to prepare for transfer
classes do not apply to this degree but are prerequisites to degree
requirements.
- Candidates must complete a minimum of 30 credit hours at KCC. Of the
final 12 credits, 9 must be earned at KCC. Challenge credit or credit
transferred from another institution may not be used to fulfill this
requirement.
- A minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average and completion of
the CAAP examination is required for graduation.
- No more than nine credits of Special Studies or Work Experience apply.
- No more than three credits of PED courses apply.
Successful pursuit of this degree requires students to possess collegiate skills in reading,
communication, computation, and critical thinking. To acquire that competency, it is highly
recommended that students complete precollegiate courses to gain these skills in the first terms
of their program.
