How to Enroll at Klamath Community College

Degree and Certificate seeking students who are new to KCC

Application Process:

  • Complete Admissions form.
  • Provide official transcripts from all previous post-secondary education, if applicable.
  • Become familiar with the program requirements.
Placement testing: Required
  • Take COMPASS placement test or provide transcript of college level math and writing courses successfully completed within the last 7 years. Registration for classes:
  • Complete registration planning form.
  • Register in Student Services.
  • Pay tuition and fees.

Non degree-seeking, post high-school students

Application Process:

  • Check course prerequisites.
  • Obtain necessary forms or information from Student Services Office.
Placement testing: May be required
  • See prior page under Placement Tests. Required when changing to a degree program, enrolling in more than 6 credits, requesting financial aid, or taking a math, writing, or language skills class or a class with math or writing prerequisites.
Registration for classes:
  • Complete registration planning form.
  • Register in Student Services.
  • Pay tuition and fees.

High school students enrolling in credit classes

Application Process:

  • Complete Admission form.
  • Complete a Referral of High School Student to Klamath Community College form.
Placement testing: Required
  • Take Compass placement test.
Registration for classes:
  • Make appointment with Student Affairs Specialist (parent or guardian must attend).
  • Complete registration form.
  • Register in Student Services.
  • Pay tuition and fees.
