As a candidate for a degree, students must complete all approved coursework in
the major field. See the degree requirements beginning on page 46 for your chosen
area of study.
KCC is state-approved to offer the following two-year degrees:

Certificate Programs
One-year certificate programs may serve as a fast track leading to entry-level
employment or a ladder to the Associate of Applied Science degree program. Most
KCC Professional-Technical degree programs include one-year certificates for
students who complete the first year of the Associate of Applied Science degree
with a minimum 2.0 GPA. AAS Degree and Certificate program descriptions,

to offer certificates in:
