Degrees and Formal Awards KCC offers two-year programs leading to one of four Associate degrees: Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer [AA-OT]; Associate of Science [AS]; Associate of General Studies [AGS]; and Associate of Applied Science [AAS]. The AAS degree is available in 8 different technical programs. Candidates for a degree must fulfill all requirements listed in the degree program.

One-year Certificates are available in 14 different academic areas. Candidates for a certificate must fulfill all requirements listed in the certificate program.

Course Offerings
Courses that are necessary to meet program requirements will be delivered in a timely manner. The College exercises the prerogative of choosing the courses to be offered each term. Not all courses will be offered every term. Final course offerings are contingent upon enrollment and staff availability, and are subject to change without prior notification. To avoid delays in meeting program requirements, students are encouraged to enroll in courses which meet specific program requirements as they are offered.

KCC - OIT Cooperation KCC and Oregon Institute of Technology [OIT] have worked together since the inception of the Klamath Community College Service District. KCC continues to purchase space in OIT class sections to provide students a broader variety of courses at a wider range of times.

Library services and opportunities for research are available through an agreement with OIT, as are access to the OIT bookstore, health and wellness services, the gymnasium, and the pool. Some of these services require additional fees for KCC students. Contact OIT for additional information.

KCC is currently working with OIT to develop our memorandum of understanding to allow students to be jointly admitted, and eligible, to enroll concurrently in both institutions. The agreement should be implemented in the near future.

Extended Studies and Workforce Development
Community, Contract, and Continuing Education courses are designed for specific occupational training, or personal, professional, or recreational interest. These courses are not part of a two-year degree or one-year certificate program. KCC offers non-credit classes, workshops, seminars and conferences to meet the needs of the community.
