Klamath Community College will host a recruitment event later this month for seasonal wildland firefighting positions. The Oregon Department of Forestry Klamath and Lake District event is Feb. 16 from noon to 7 p.m. on campus in Building 4.

Klamath Community College President Dr. Roberto Gutierrez spoke with Brown about the College’s dedication to supporting community initiatives that “incubate” entrepreneurs and encourage multi-tiered economic growth.

College and community leaders celebrated the opening of Klamath Center for Education & Training (K-CET) with a ribbon-cutting at Klamath Community College Thursday. The K-CET center opened in September and already has more than 100 students enrolled in GED, college prep adult basic education and English as a second language classes.
 
Klamath Community College is proud to announce it has earned the 2017 Military Friendly School designation by Victory Media. The Military Friendly designation, which identifies KCC as a school that supports military veterans, will be provided to service members and their families to promote education opportunities that can better help them pursue a civilian career.
Klamath Community College will host its first Wildland Firefighter Round-Up, Monday, Nov. 14, from 3 to 7 p.m. on the KCC campus to help potential applicants learn how to navigate the USAJOBS application system.
