Associated Students of Klamath Community College, the college’s student government organization, will host a forum for candidates for Klamath County Commissioner April 22, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. All three candidates for Klamath County Commissioner, Position 2, have confirmed that they will be in attendance. The forum will be held in the KCC Commons inside Building 4 on campus at the college.
“This is a great opportunity for our students to get involved in the area’s political processes and have a chance to meet, listen to and ask questions of the candidates,” said David Minger, KCC’s interim Vice President for Student Services. “It’s important that our students understand the value of local elections and inform themselves on the issues.”
Each candidate will have approximately 15 minutes to address the audience and will then be asked to spend an additional 15 minutes responding to audience questions. Although the forum is being held on campus at KCC, it is open to the public.
