Klamath Community College, in partnership with the Oregon State University Klamath Basin Research and Extension Center, will host a youth livestock judging clinic and contest at the Klamath County Fairgrounds Saturday, April 19, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Participants will learn to evaluate beef cattle, swine, sheep and meat goats, then have an opportunity to put those new skills to test in a competition.
The livestock judging clinic will take place from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with lunch to follow from 11:00 a.m. – noon. The livestock judging contest will then take place from noon – 4:00 p.m. with awards given out following the contest.
