Since 1999 KCC has been steadily increasing and improving its campus facilities to keep pace with modern technology and to meet ever-changing community needs.
Student support services now include: a new Learning Resources Center, food service, book store and student study areas.
Classroom space has increased substantially to meet demand for expanding programs and community education. New teaching facilities embrace emerging technologies incorporating modern teaching aids, state-of-the-art computer and simulation labs, synchronous classes, and distance education.
More on the way...
KCC is currently expanding with the addition of a Work Skills Technology Center and a Campus Center. The two new structures are scheduled for completion in 2018.
When completed these facilities will increase campus capacity by 40% adding eight new classrooms, enhanced student support facilities, and new faculty and administrative office space.
Public Safety Training Center - Stay Tuned
KCC is in the planning stages for new facilities to house the Klamath Basin Public Safety Training Center. The proposed center will have modern classrooms dedicated to emergency services training, storage for apparatus and equipment, overnight accommodations, and administrative offices.
Drill grounds for skills training will also be developed including a burn tower for live fire exercises as well as other facilities that provide specialized training simulations.
