2014-2015 Certified Nursing Assistant Application deadlines:

Fall 2014-Applications will be accepted April 7, 2014 - May 19, 2014
Winter 2015-Applications will be accepted September 29, 2012 - October 10, 2014.
***Note - Winter 2015 Applications will now be accepted through December 1, 2014.
Spring 2015-Applications will be accepted January 5, 2015 - March 6, 2015
Fall 2015-Applications will be accepted March 18, 2015 - April 18, 2015

Klamath Community College's Nursing Assistant Training Course (HEA 100) is a 7 credit course designed to prepare students for the Oregon State Board of Nursing: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) exam. Course components include classroom lecture, skills lab, and clinical practice in healthcare settings.

What CNAs need to know
If you would like to know more about working as a CNA in Oregon, you can follow the link and read the following booklet. If you are admitted into HEA 100, you will be required to read this information and sign a statement that you have read this entire document.
Fees, tuition, and other program costs:
Student must pay at registration into Program, unless other arrangement is made with college. This is responsibility of student. Costs may vary without notification.

Hepatitis B Immunization Series $60.00-70.00 per injection & a visit fee (cost varies with each providers) (Note a 3 injection series)
TB Skin Test

Chest X-ray if required after TB skin test, cost varies with providers and fee for MD follow up.
