What is dual credit?

Standards

The Oregon dual credit standards align with nationally recognized practices and focus on replicating, to the greatest extent possible, the college or university course in the high school. This includes requiring the participating high school teacher to meet the qualifications to teach the course for the college/university.

Instructor Guide Book

Defines dual credit, explains in detail the accelerating learning standards for the state of Oregon which the dual credit program falls under. This guidebook covers the qualifications and process of how to become a dual credit instructor as well as the expectations.

Drop/Withdraw Form

  • Used to drop or withdraw a student from an enrolled course. Please note this is a multi-page form. All pages of the form must be filled out and turned in to the KCC K-12 support coordinator.

Participating High Schools

Klamath Community College offers a number of courses for dual credit. High schools select courses based on their current curriculum. Please check with your high school for courses being offered.
