Psychologist John L. Holland created a system of classifications, most commonly referred to as Holland Codes, for his career development model Holland Occupational Themes
These codes classify personal interests into 6 broad categories (realistic, investigative, artistic, social, enterprising, and conventional). Holland also classified occupational environments with the same categories
This model is often used in career development to help a person find work in a field they will enjoy
KCC adapted an online Holland code career assessment quiz from the Department of Workforce Services.
