Welding Skills Offered
Klamath Community College, Community and Contract Education Department, offers a variety of non-credit welding classes. Welding Practice I and Welding Practice II are courses anyone can take to brush up current skills. For those wanting to learn the basics of welding without enrolling in a degree program, KCC offers an Industrial Welding/Cutting Process course. For those who want to get certified, KCC has a Welding Certification course.
No prerequisite courses or certifications are required in order to qualify for the Community Education Welding Certification course. Students must have welding experience, as this is a performance-based program. Final certification will provide industry recognized credentials that students may take with them wherever they go. The Certified Welder (CW) program tests procedures used in the structural steel, petroleum pipelines, sheet metal and chemical refinery welding industries.
The Welding Certification courses are excellent for businesses wanting to certify their welding workforce. These non-credit classes are a great way to give employees that extra confidence builder that will make for a better employee.
