KLAMATH FALLS – Tickets for a fun-filled night at Klamath Community College’s sixth annual Foundation Gala fundraiser are available for purchase.
The headline show for the May 6 gala is, “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to College … Part 2,” a comedy show led by Leif Skyving and Rick Pulido, two professional stand-up comedians from live-entertainment company Michael Jenkins Comedy of Portland.
The event includes an upscale dinner, silent auction, and a no-host bar. Each ticket holder will receive a $55 gift certificate to Main Street Jewelers, said gala committee co-chair Michelle Wynne. The certificates are redeemable at the downtown store.
Silent auction items include a one-hour helicopter ride, overnight stays, golf, dinners, and a variety of other exciting packages, said gala committee co-chair David Scott.
According to Julie Murray-Jensen, KCC vice president of enrollment and external affairs, the KCC Foundation’s annual gala raises money for KCC scholarship programs and plays a critical role in making college and professional-level training affordable for KCC students.
“Each year the gala is better and better, and we are looking forward to hosting another amazing benefit for our students,” she said. “It’s a great event for a terrific cause.”
The gala will be held at Yesterday’s Plaza in Klamath Falls. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the event begins at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets are $55 and can be purchased at the KCC cashier window in Building 3 and at Rodeos Pizza and Saladeria, 1215 Main St. in Klamath Falls. Tickets can also be purchased online at kccgala.org.
