Athlete To Do List

1. Submit an application for admission. You will be given a “MyKCC” log in and password.
2. Send official high school transcript to the Registrar.
3. Complete New Student Orientation
4. Schedule appointment with an advisor about your classes. Call 541-882-3521 for an appt. They are located in Founders Hall.
5. After your advising session you will need to register for classes online at mykcc.klamathcc.edu. Click on the “MyKCC” link in the top right corner of the KCC web page. Be sure to enroll in minimum 12 credits.
6. Talk to coach to find out practice times, as you don’t want to register for classes during that time.
7. Verify financial aid (FAFSA) School code is 034283. You can ask for an unofficial award to be processed if you haven’t received the official one yet. Call the financial aid office to do this 541-882-3521.
8. Log on to MyKCC. CLICK Accept my financial aid awards. CLICK Financial Aid Requirements. Fill out and send any financial aid documents.

1. HEALTH INSURANCE: You will need health insurance coverage as well as COPY OF THE CARDS. Be sure you know if you are covered for athletic related events in the state of Oregon as well as other states you will travel to.
   
   
2. IMMUNIZATION RECORDS: You will need a copy of your immunization records for athletics. Usually your high school has them. Email a copy to KCC-Sports@klamathcc.edu. In the subject line: LAST NAME, FIRST NAME_SPORT

PHYSICALS: Physicals must be completed after July 1st. No exceptions. Example: If you had one done in June, you will need another one. NWCA physicals are required every 2 years but after July 1st.

Please note: if you got a physical your senior year, you will need a NEW physical dated after July 1st.
NOTICE: Submitting athletic paperwork doesn’t automatically deem you eligible to compete in intercollegiate athletics. You must meet all NWAC eligibility requirements and be cleared by the athletic trainer and athletic department before you are eligible.
