History

Klamath Community College's Student Leadership Council submitted an application to become an official student government on April 15, 2009. On April 28, 2009, the KCC Board of Education approved the Associated Students of Klamath Community College (ASKCC). In May 2009, selection of the 2009-2010 ASKCC officers was made. ASKCC began working on the Oregon Community Colleges Associated Student Government certification process in 2013; the certification application was submitted and approved in 2014.

ASKCC Officers

ASKCC officers are selected each year during the Spring Term and work to advocate for the student body each academic year (summer terms through spring). Officers are available for support or a listening ear during their office hours each week in the Office of Student Life located in Building 4.

Crystal is originally from Indiana and is currently studying Business. Her favorite food is soup and sandwiches and in her free time she loves all things crafting.

Amber is a born and raised Oregonian and is currently studying Agricultural Sciences at KCC. Her favorite foods are sopes and macaroons and in her free time she enjoys working horses, shooting, fishing, fine arts, and reading.

Tricia is a born and raised Oregonian who is completing her General Studies. Her favorite food is anything from Cornbread Cafe in Eugene and in her free time she enjoys building or putting things together such as furniture.

Nancy is a born and raised Oregonian who is studying for her degree in Paraeducation. Her favorite food is cinnamon rolls and in her free time she enjoys crocheting, painting, and baking.

Yanitza is a born and raised Oregonian who is currently completing her General Studies. Her favorite food is chicken alfredo and cheesecake and in her free time she enjoys painting and drawing.

Victoria is originally from Florida and is studying Criminal Justice. Her favorite food is potatoes and in her free time she trains service dogs.
