Head Coach

Lupe Gonzales has spent the last 25 years coaching Club and High School soccer in Southern Oregon.
Lupe is a standout figure as both a player and a coach. A former All State Player at Henley High School, Gonzales helped his team to back-to-back state championships, cementing his legacy as one of the programs greats. He went on to play soccer at Southwestern Oregon Community College and George Fox University. He also played 3 seasons in the Premier Arena Soccer League.
He was inducted in the Henley High School Sports Hall of Fame in 2015.
Gonzales is one of the few individuals in state history to win a state championship as both a player and as a coach. He also has the distinction of leading both the boys’ and girls’ teams to the OSAA State Championship game. A rare feat that highlights his exceptional leadership and understanding of the game.
At the time of his retirement, he ranked 17th all-time in career victories among Oregon High School soccer coaches. His success and reputation at Henley contributed to his hiring as Athletic Director and Men’s Soccer at Klamath Community College.
“I am blessed to coach at KCC. We strive to create an environment where team chemistry and individual development drive collective success on the field and in academics. It is our mission to help each student athlete graduate and transition to a 4-year university.”
