Below is a list of scholarships KCC's Financial Aid Office has selected that are of special interest to our students, including KCC's Foundation awards, which are available only to KCC students.

Insta4Likes

777 – Multiple (Deadline: 5/1/2022)

If you are a scholar hoping to pursue a successful career in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) or Social Media Marketing or SMM, you may fancy the esteemed Insta4Likes Scholarship. This prestigious scholarship has been instituted by Insta4likes for meritorious and sincere scholars from underprivileged and financially unstable backgrounds. The purpose of the fellowship is to help reduce their financial burden since all beneficiaries will be getting $777 non-refundable aid. The scholarship money could be use by the student with complete freedom. To clarify Nobody will be monitoring where the prize money is going.

Jinhee Wilde Attorney

$1,000 – 1 (Deadline: 12/15/2021)

She knows full well the challenges under-graduate students in the United States face, and the fact that there are no safety nets built into the system to simplifies these challenges. For this reason, Jinhee Wilde has established a scholarship in her name, focused on assisting one student as he/she strives to complete their studies, earn their degree, and move onto the goal of establishing a successful career.

Josh Gibson MD award

$1,000 – 1 (Deadline: 12/15/2021)

The Josh Gibson MD Award is aimed towards supporting talented, dedicated, academically brilliant, and motivated scholars with the resources they need in order to obtain a postsecondary education, and thus, excel in their academic and professional pursuits. The highly-acclaimed Josh Gibson MD Award was instituted to reward some of the most deserving students throughout the country. One of several philanthropic initiatives by Josh Gibson, this award will support one student per year with $1,000, which he/she will be able to use towards his/her college expenses.

OCF Scholarships

Our scholarships support a wide variety of majors, interests and passions. We have scholarships for graduates of specific high schools, current college students and even graduate students. Some scholarships support nontraditional students pursuing workforce retraining or higher education.

Paul Haarman Scholarship

$1,000 – 3 (Deadline: 12/15/2021)

Paul Haarman understands the difficulties that students seeking their university degree experience. For this reason, and many others, he has established the Paul Haarman Grant. The award will help three talented students cover the high cost of tuition… The three deserving winners of the Paul Haarman Grant will see a deduction in their tuition accounts of $1000 each.

Jason is an extraordinary professional loved and respected by all his colleagues and clients in the field for his vision. Also appreciated for his leadership, and dedication to corporate social responsibility. A philanthropist at heart, Jason believes that every individual should have the opportunity and means to access quality education. This is why he initiated the Jason E Fisher Scholarship.

David JC Cutler Scholarship

$1,000 – 1 (Deadline: 12/15/2021)

Before a candidate applies for the David JC Cutler grant program, he or she needs to complete the required eligibility criteria. These include: * US students needs to be enrolled at a accredited United States college or university. * The student should be enrolled as a sophomore, a junior, or a freshman. * All students should pen an elaborate, engrossing, interesting, and informative essay of about 700-850 words on the prompt, “What are the greatest challenges you have faced in your lifetime, and how have you overcome them?”

MALDEF Scholarship Resource

MALDEF is pleased to provide you with this extensive list of scholarships, including many that do not inquire about immigration status or require a valid social security number. The overview of scholarships provided includes website links that you are advised to visit for more complete details as it is not practical to list every requirement of each scholarship. Please read through, or download, the information here and select scholarships that are applicable to you. As a general rule, if an application asks for your social security number and you do not have one yet, leave that space blank but fill out and turn in the otherwise completed application. Many scholarship awards can be processed with just the student’s name and address. If a scholarship specifically requests a SSN, ask if it is possible to submit an ITIN instead. An important reminder: Dishonesty about your legal status or providing a false social security number is a federal offense.

Soroptimist Scholarships

The Live Your Dream Awards offers three levels of cash awards. Eligible applicants can submit their application between August 1 - November 15. Ultimately, a Live Your Dream Awards finalist has the potential receive up to $16,000 to help offset tuition costs, purchase books, get transportation, or find reliable childcare so she can worry less about how to pay her bills and focus on reaching her dreams.

With an intention to reward talented and expert medical students, the Cali's choice Scholarship introduces its Medical Student Scholarship Program. Our scholarship is for all medical students in the USA, Canada, UK, and Australia, who have enrolled in a full-time degree or diploma course at a recognized university in the following countries.

KCC Foundation Scholarship Awards:

KCC Foundation Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis and receive contributions from several organizations and endowments. Because College is Expensive:

How it works- The $500 “Because College is Expensive” Scholarship is open to all students and those planning on enrolling within 24 months. The winner will be determined by random drawing and then contacted directly and announced on this Scholarship page. One entry per person is all that is necessary. 

 

Who can Apply?

 

High school students, adults looking to head back to school, current college & grad students and anyone else looking to attend college or graduate school within 24 months.

 

Deadline:  Quarterly (March, June, September & December)
