Below is a list of scholarships KCC's Financial Aid Office has selected that are of special interest to our students, including KCC's Foundation awards, which are available only to KCC students.
KCC Foundation Scholarship Awards:
KCC Foundation Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis and receive contributions from several organizations and endowments. To learn more about Foundation scholarships, please visit the KCC Foundation web page at https://www.klamathcc.edu/Foundation, select scholarships, and apply during fall term each year. Because College is Expensive:
How it works- The $500 "Because College is Expensive" Scholarship is open to all students and those planning on enrolling within 24 months. The winner will be determined by random drawing and then contacted directly and announced on this Scholarship page. One entry per person is all that is necessary.
Who can Apply?
High school students, adults looking to head back to school, current college & grad students and anyone else looking to attend college or graduate school within 24 months.
Deadline: Quarterly (March, June, September & December)
Grow Your Own
- Must be a resident of Klamath, Lake, Modoc, or Siskiyou counties.
- Must enroll or be enrolled in the KCC Paraeducator program during the term or terms that the scholarship funds are awarded.
- Continuing college students must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative grade point average.
Natural Resource Scholarship
This scholarship is intended to recognize and support individuals who plan to enter fields of study that will lead to the continued enrichment of the Natural Resources and related industries. This scholarship is for vocational, undergraduate, or graduate programs, and can be awarded to high school seniors or return students attending a higher education program.
Citizens Scholarship
Citizens wants to honor the dedication of students and families pursuing higher learning! Fill out the registration form below to be entered for a chance to win a Grand Prize of $15,000 to use towards school expenses and one of the $2,500 monthly prizes! Additionally, each quarter a student who meets the required criteria for the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Scholarship Prize will be eligible to win a $2,500 quarterly prize for use towards school expenses.
