Below is a list of scholarships KCC's Financial Aid Office has selected that are of special interest to our students, including KCC's Foundation awards, which are available only to KCC students.

Grow your own teacher pathway scholarship

Varies – 50 (Deadline: 2/4/2024)

The Klamath Community College Grow Your Own Teacher Pathway Scholarship provides opportunities for people interested in pursuing a teaching career and living in rural communities of Klamath and Lake counties to complete credits toward a teaching license.

American Sign Company Annual Scholarship

$1,000 – 1 (Deadline: 1/31/2023)

American Sign Company has been creating high quality signs for years and now its our turn to give back. We have setup an annual scholarship for $1,000. To participate applicants can choose one of the following: Design a sign for your college campus. Design a logo for a business you currently own or would like to own one day. Design a plaque for someone that impacted your life.

Addictions Scholarship

$2,500 – Varies (Deadline: 1/31/2023)

Are you a full-time college student in the U.S.? Do you have a passion for raising awareness about the dangers associated with substance abuse and addiction? If you answered “yes” to both questions, you’ll want to enter the Addictions.com Scholarship Contest. Five scholarships will be awarded to qualified college students who write the winning essays (for first, second, third, fourth, and fifth places). By providing financial assistance to help pay for books, tuition, or daily expenses, we hope to encourage more students to get involved and become advocates who will raise awareness about the risks and dangers of addiction.

AmeriCorps

AmeriCorps improves lives, strengthens communities, and fosters civic engagement through service and volunteering. AmeriCorps brings people together to tackle some of the country’s most pressing challenges through national service and volunteerism. AmeriCorps members and AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers serve with organizations dedicated to the improvement of communities and those serving. AmeriCorps helps make service a cornerstone of our national culture.

KCC Foundation Scholarship Awards:

KCC Foundation Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis and receive contributions from several organizations and endowments. To learn more about Foundation scholarships, please visit the KCC Foundation web page at https://www.klamathcc.edu/Foundation, select scholarships, and apply during fall term each year.  For more information, call 541.880-2234.
 

Because College is Expensive:

How it works- The $500 “Because College is Expensive” Scholarship is open to all students and those planning on enrolling within 24 months. The winner will be determined by random drawing and then contacted directly and announced on this Scholarship page. One entry per person is all that is necessary. 

 

Who can Apply?

 

High school students, adults looking to head back to school, current college & grad students and anyone else looking to attend college or graduate school within 24 months.

 

Deadline:  Quarterly (March, June, September & December)
