You’ve filed your FAFSA, have taken a math and writing placement test, and you’ve registered for your classes. Next you need to attend orientation.
New student orientation is required for every new student entering KCC. An orientation session is held the Thursday prior to each term.
Beginning at 10 am, with check in opening at 9 am, you’ll meet faculty and campus resources, engage with second year students and student leaders, and get hands-on instruction on navigating our online platforms. You’ll also participate in revolving workshops ranging from financial literacy to resource fairs, and have a meet-and-greet with our resource directors. Student-led campus tours are available upon request and drop-in sessions throughout the campus are open for further inquiry and information. Also, lunch is on us!For online or distance-education students, online orientation is available via Zoom. The Zoom orientation contains all the information provided at an in-person orientation, it's just virtual!
