HEERF and CARES act reporting

  1. Klamath Community College has signed and returned required certification(s) and acknowledgements to the Department of  Education,  with the assurance that the institution has used the applicable amount of funds designated under the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund  program (encompassing CARES, CRRSAA and ARP (a)(1) and (a)(4) programs) to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students.
     
  2. Klamath Community College has received a total of $2,480.428 as of 5/12/2021 from the Department of Education HEERF program pursuant to the institution’s submitted certification(s) and agreement(s) for Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students (i.e. via CARES, CRRSAA and ARP (a)(1) and (a)(4) programs).
     
  3. 3,666 disbursements have been directly distributed to students under the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund program (CARES, CRRSAA, ARP) as of March 31st, 2022.  This figure will be updated every 45 Days until funds are expended.
     
  4. The estimated total number of students at the institution that are/were eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students under the CRRSAA and ARP (a)(1) and (a)(4) programs, respectively:  2035*

    *NOTE: 2,035 students qualified to meet the KCC selection matrix.  KCC continues in good faith and best effort to serve ALL student/training participants equitably and offers multiple institutional resources in order to reduce barriers, meet needs, and ensure academic and program success"
     
  5. 2035 students have received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant to students under the CRRSAA and ARP (a)(1) and (a)(4) programs.
