Consortium Agreements

What is a Consortium Agreement?
A consortium agreement is an agreement between eligible schools which enables you to receive various types of aid from one school while being enrolled as a "visiting student" or "dual-enrolled" student at another school. The school you are receiving financial aid from is considered your "home" school and the visiting/dual-enrolled school is referred to as the "host" school.

Procedure

If Klamath Community College is your home school, you will need to print a Consortium Agreement form and submit it to your host school. Your host school will cancel any pending financial aid funds and notify the KCC Financial Aid Office of the number of credits you are enrolled in at the host school.

If Klamath Community College is your host school, you will need to contact the Financial Aid Office at your home school to complete a Consortium Agreement form and submit it to KCC. We will cancel any pending financial aid funds and notify the Financial Aid Office at your home school of the number of credits you are enrolled in at KCC.

KCC Consortium Agreement Terms

In order for KCC to add the credits you are enrolled in at your host institution and determine your enrollment status for financial aid disbursement, you must meet the following conditions:

  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credits at Klamath Community College.
  • The course(s) you are enrolled in at the host institution are not offered during the current term at Klamath Community College.
  • You have cancelled all aid awarded by your HOST institution for the term of co-enrollment.
  • A copy of your course registration at your HOST institution is attached - NOT a billing statement.
  • The course(s) you are registering for at the HOST institution is/are a 100 or 200 level course. Courses above 200 level will not be including in your financial aid enrollment status.
  • An academic advisor has approved your host coursework as applicable to your Klamath Community College degree plan, and completed the advisor certification on the back of this form.
  • You understand that your HOST credits and grades will be treated in the same manner as all other courses taken at Klamath Community College, and will be subject to KCC's Standards of Satisfactory Academic Progress.
  • You must submit an official transcript to Klamath Community College's Financial Aid Office at the completion of the term. Future funding will be postponed until the official transcript is received.
  • You are responsible for paying all tuition, fees, and other incidental charges at your HOST institution. Klamath Community College does not pay your HOST institution.
