Education at the Speed of Life!
KCC realizes that the "speed of life" doesn’t end with receiving a degree from our institution. Some graduates are already working in their planned area of study, some will pursue a career after earning a degree, while others will pursue a higher degree from a university.
We have built numerous articulation agreements with Southern Oregon University, Oregon Tech, Oregon State University, Eastern Oregon University, and Linfield College to help make the transition to a university seamless. Articulation agreements are contracts between KCC and partner schools that ensure all credits taken at KCC will transfer, and students will enter a university at a junior level, with no loss of credit.
Questions about transfers? You can use the Oregon Transfer Tools offered by the Oregon Transfer Compass to learn more.
Articulation agreements are available for specific programs. Please choose from one of the listed schools to see what is offered, or contact an advisor for more details.

Common Course Numbering
In February 2023, the Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) implemented Common Course Numbering. These courses are standardized in the course title, number, learning outcomes, descriptions, subject code, and credits. The courses are intended to help students keep credit when they transfer from a community college to a four-year university. This saves students time and money by not having to retake courses. This change benefits students who transfer between any public institution in Oregon.
