CAST*
- Narrator/Pistol Pete: Definitely not in it for fame and fortune, but loves a good story
- Kate Chrystal “Calamity” (KCC) Oakley: The Hero/Heroine of the story. A “crack shot” with a clumsy streak who is committed to the community, standing up to ne’er do wells, and generally bettering the lives of others/ doing good wherever possible
- Cletus: An “every person”/go-along to get along kind of character who takes life as it comes, as long as it comes with a wry kernel of humor. Cletus definitely understands the “a-peel” of potato town living and loves to share the good natured charm with as many as will listen and indulge
- “Miserable” Marvin: Not a classic villain, necessarily, but someone definitely out for their own ends. More curmudgeonly than truly malicious, Marvin doesn’t really care who gets mashed in the process as long as there’s fries with his burger
- Ally “The Agitator” Altamont: Not afraid to poke the bear, wake sleeping dogs, and shake the hornet’s nest, as long as they can watch the results from a distance.
- Cookie The Crumb: The gang’s head chef/bar keep-sidelined from bigger dreams by the need to have an income, even one that necessitates getting hands dirty from time to time.
- Bart “The Badger” Barton: A “Fixer” of sorts, aligned with the crew for now.
- Chicken Farmer: Kind of a chicken when faced with peril, but a person of egg-cellent character on the whole, the Chicken Farmer has been providing the local markets and restaurants with their yolks for more than years.
- Cattle Rancher: A grizzled older person who’s seen the best and worst of the world around them. Someone who accepts no bull-droppings from others, after shoveling it all day as part of the regular cattle operation.
- 3 to 4 additional ensemble performers (all of the glory of being part of the live on stage experience with no lines to memorize)
*NOTE: Certain roles may be adapted or combined depending on the talent pool.
Stage (Coach) Crew:
Those interested in working on the tech or stage crew are encouraged to attend one of the auditions to sign up.
