Applying to the AELI
The AELI offers guaranteed admission to students who are interested in a level of English proficiency, academic skills, and cultural knowledge necessary to achieve success at Klamath Community College, or any American institution of higher education.
Note: The AELI is currently unable to enroll F-1 and M-1 International Students.
Requirements
- Complete high school before enrolling
- Submit your application prior to the start of a term
- Be available to attend orientation and classes regularly
The Process
Step One – Make an electronic copy of your high school certificate and transcript
Step Two - Complete the online AELI Application.
Step Three - The AELI will contact you about registration, placement, and orientation
Step Four - Report to school for orientation and testing
Step Five - You will receive your schedule and placement
Step Six - Purchase textbooks and report to class
