Exercise Science connects science, medicine, and health to create a framework for understanding how the human body adapts to stresses, physical activity, and disease. Students will expand their understanding of the body, psyche, skill acquisition, and fitness, as well as the art and science of guiding others in health-related quests. A degree in exercise science can lead to work as a personal trainer, fitness consultant, athletic trainer, or strength and conditioning coach. However, a degree in exercise science also offers a strong foundation for pursuing advanced degrees in exercise-related fields.
