The Badger Venture Kick Off has been moved to January 27 due to inclement weather.
What is Badger Venture?
KCC’s Badger Venture is an innovation and entrepreneurship concept and pitch competition open to KCC students and Alumni!
It was designed to encourage KCC students to consider how a concept, prototype, or service might address a ‘user-centered’ problem that the project team identifies through their early research, and that could be designed, manufactured, or delivered in-person or remotely from South Central Oregon and holds potential for economic or job growth.
Who can compete?
Current degree - or certificate-seeking KCC students or alumni who graduated with a degree or certificate in the past six years, 2014-2019. See

Through Badger Venture, teams will:
- develop a new concept, prototype, or service or an innovation for an existing business model,
- work with a faculty mentor and SBDC advisor to develop a pitch, and
- present their pitch to a panel of outside judges for prizes on April 22!
