How do I enroll in Self-Enrolled courses?

Hi, this is the Center for Teaching and Learning Director and in this video I am going to show you how to self-enroll in CTL Professional Development Canvas courses

  • On the global navigation menu click on Courses.
  • Select All Courses
  • Select Browse more courses
  • In the Search box, enter CTL
  • For the course you want to join, click on Join this Course
  • A dialog box will open stating: You are enrolling in CTL whichever course you are enrolling in.
  • Click the Enroll in Course button
  • You will receive notification that you have been enrolled in the course you selected. 
  • You can choose to go back to your dashboard or go to the course.
  • You are now successfully enrolled in a CTL Professional Development course.

    • Create AI prompts using reflective questioning to refine outputs and efficiently craft engaging course announcements.

 

  • Empowering Students to Use AI Responsibly (1-2 hours)
    • Learn how to develop students’ understanding and responsible use of AI by setting clear expectations and teaching them to use it to support their learning.

 

  • Teaching with AI-Inclusive and AI-Resistant Learning Experiences (1-2 hours)
