  • Student-Centered Course Material Procurement Models. The current campus store model isn't working for any stakeholder. How can we proactively get out of our campus store doom loop? Open Oregon Educational Resources and the Orbis Cascade Alliance invite you to a virtual half-day meeting to bring together OER champions, librarians, store managers, business officers, instructors, students, and other relevant stakeholders in Oregon. May 3, 9-1

 

  • Spring 2024 Virtual OER Review Workshops will take place May 13, 12-1; May 14, 5-6; and May 15, 12-1. After the workshop, you’ll receive a stipend for writing a review of an open educational resource.

Critical AI Literacy skills needed to prepare our students for the current/future workforce

Join us April 24th at noon for the next of our series of informal guided discussions with colleagues from across the state on topics related to Generative AI in Education.

 

Topic: Critical AI Literacy skills needed to prepare our students for the current/future workforce

 

Special Guests

Lorena Nascimento (Geospatial faculty, PCC) and Wilson Nitunga (Business and Entrepreneurship faculty, PCC) will get us started with a short presentation followed by discipline-specific discussion in breakout rooms.

 

Registration

 

This 1-hour session will begin with a brief presentation or sharing of examples, followed by small and large group discussions with other instructors from across the state. Following registration, you’ll receive a confirmation message that includes the Zoom link. You can click on "Add to Google Calendar" to have it added to your calendar. Stipends are not available for this series.
