Bachelor Pathways

Agriculture_3.jpg

The Bachelor Pathway programs at Klamath Community College are designed to help international students adjust to the pace of U.S academic life and practice their English-language skills. In addition, these programs offer flexible admissions and can help to reduce the overall cost of a bachelor degree. These make KCC a great option for international students.

These programs are based on agreements that allow students to begin at Klamath Community College and take advantage of its size and community focus. This means that during your first 1-2 years, your classes will be small, teachers will be available, and you will get a lot of individualized support. In the words of our faculty, "You have to work to fail at KCC."

After 1-2 years, it will be time to transfer to a university! The process is fairly simple, but it is important to work closely with your advisor to ensure you are taking courses that transfer, satisfying any university requirements (typically meeting the GPA requirement), and meeting deadlines.

With pathways to 100s of degree options, Klamath Community College is the perfect place to begin working toward your Bachelor degree.

KCC's Pathway Program to Oregon's Polytechnical College is an ideal options for students wanting to pursuing a bachelor degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Communication, Psychology, Health Science, or another degree offered at Oregon Institute of Technology.

Students in these programs will have small classes, interact with their instructors regularly, receive individualized support, and save as much as $40,000 USD while at KCC. In addition, students do not have to move to a new city because both KCC and OIT are located in Klamath Falls. This makes OIT the number one option for KCC students wanting to pursue a bachelor degree.

Badger to Owl Connection

Another reason that OIT has been a top destination for our students is the Badger to Owl Connection program. In this program, students who complete an associate degree within 8 consecutive quarters (2 years), maintain a 3.0 GPA, and pass Math 95 and Writing 121 with a B or higher will receive a tuition waiver for their first and last semesters at OIT. This equates to a savings of nearly $17,000 USD! More information about this program and the enrollment form can be found at the Badger to Owl Connection website.
